Diamante's Primary weapon is a rather interesting take on the inclusion of ranged weaponry into a melee weapon. Rather than having Slicing Ascher utilize the ever so popular foldable frame that allows for swift transformations, Slicing Ascher takes its cues from older weapons, and combines the trigger and other firing mechanisms of an older style rifle into its design, with the handle having a combination trigger and handguard, while the pommel acts as the indicator for which type of dust crystal that is currently powering the weapon's ammunition.
The barrel for Slicing Ascher's firearm form is actually forged as part of the spine of the weapon, making it intensely durable while also giving it a hole that is slightly larger than the width of a pin, allowing the weapon to fire. In its main form, the wheel-lock hammer of the firearm is kept away from the scoop near the end of the blade, and the hole that allows the friction of the wheel lock hammer to ignite the dust that is being utilized is sealed, keeping the weapon from going off accidentally.
In this form, it is a simple blade, with the long trigger that runs parallel to the handle for the weapon acting as a knuckle type hand guard. However, when the firearm is active, the wheel-lock hammer lowers down into the scoop, and the trigger's safety is turned off, allowing Diamante to grip onto it and fire her weapon. Currently, Slicing Ascher only utilizes the basic types of dust: Fire, Ice, Lightning, and Wind.
Slicing Ascher utilizes four Multi-Use Cartridges, which rotate elements with every other shot. The current type of dust is reflected by the color the clear glass pane that decorates the pommel takes on, matching the color of whatever dust crystal is currently in use.
Red: Allows Diamante to either fire off a single straight line of fire, or fire off flaming projectiles.
Blue: This type of dust can either turn the bullets fired into small icicles at a target, or allows Diamante to flash freeze small areas around her, usually about five feet in diameter.
Yellow: This causes all shots fired by Diamante to be treated as if they were fired from a railgun, massively increasing the destructive force behind the ammunition by increasing the velocity massively. However, this shot can also be charged to create a single bullet that has lightning arc off of it upon nearing a target.
Green: This type of dust actually allows Diamante to create razor wind slashes. As such, this type of dust locks down the actual firearm aspect of Slicing Ascher, and instead focuses on enhancing and giving range to her slashes.
When inactive, Slicing Ascher is kept within a rather ornate sheathe that originally stored her father's weapon, and has been modified to fit Slicing Ascher comfortably.
Roadrunner is by far a very wide reaching semblance, named after a feat that Diamante witnessed during her childhood in cartoons. Roadrunner allows Diamante to manipulate earthen materials. However, it only truly works with fine particles of earth, such as dust, dirt, sand, exceedingly small rocks, and even snow. However, manipulating snow is MUCH more taxing on Diamante than manipulating anything else would be.
However, currently Diamante is only capable of creating bursts of whatever substance she is manipulating around herself or any area within a 4 meter radius of herself, creating obscuring clouds of whatever material is being used to allow her to capitalize on the confusion created by it.
