Hello members of WOR! It's been a while since our last newsletter, and we've recently undergone a number of changes that we figured should be announced in one nice big newsletter for everyone. Without further ado, here we are!
Rule Updates & Changes
Pending Application Limits:
As many of you should already be aware, we made a small change to how often player(s) can put up character applications. After a long period of being heavily bogged down due to multiple applications from players, as well as an onset of new players, we've made the choice to limit each member to one pending application at a time, as opposed to the previous allowance of two. This is a means to help spread out the workload as staff and allow us to catch up on work that has fallen by the wayside in the need to review apps. We know you are all excited for new things, but we can't keep generating new content if we're too bogged down!
Secondly, as a means to help new members get more quickly situated, we have added a limit where players with more than 3 accepted characters must wait a minimum of 3 days between posting new character applications. As well, players with more than 5 characters must wait a week between applications. This is so that we can space things out a bit and streamline the app process and put a little more focus on getting newer members accepted, instead of coming in to 5 or more applications each and every day.
Staff Team Changes
Though we did not officially announce it, we would like to welcome ShadowSaiph
on as moderators! They have been done a phenomenal job with missions, and will be an integral part of the new site event that will be coming up.
Lore Updates: Grimm, White Fang, & Menagerie
We've got three new big updates to bring all of you!
First off, we've done a reorganization of the Grimm section of lore, organizing each section by area. This means a few descriptions are duplicated, but this will better showcase what Grimm show up in each of the areas of the world, and where they seem to be common.
Secondly, we have released two large updates: The White Fang
has finally been given a full layout of each cell and how they function, based on plots that have been created by members and staff alike around the White Fang. Members of the White Fang, please read the new lore and check the team listings. If the new White Fang lore requires a character addendum for anyone, or you need to be sorted into the correct cell, please contact Javalope, and the process will be expedited to have the changes made as soon as possible.
Thirdly, we have released lore on Menagerie, chronicling its backstory and what we know about it so far. To go with this, we will finally be releasing a new character type that can be applied for: CIVILIANS! Players will now be able to play the average citizen in Remnant, and are no longer limited to just students, graduates, or military members. Civilians do not require a battle template unless they are capable of participating in combat. Civilian characters may also not be younger than the age of thirteen, or the same age as a first-year junior student.

Signal Academy Bonfire:
This event has been opened up to all students at Signal (including Beacon students and visiting students from other Kingdoms who have elected to stay in Vale). This event, however, is limited to students only. The bonfire occurs in early June (~June 7-10 or so).
Retaking Beacon Academy:
In July, forces have been mobilized in Vale to retake Beacon Academy. There are a multitude of details revolving around the event, which you can find here
, in the official event thread.
